Monte C. Byrd
Founder and President
Monte Byrd is the founder of the 401K Shop, a Texas financial services firm serving families, private clients and businesses. Mr. Byrd has more than 25 years of experience in financial advisory services. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations, as well being an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. Monte received a B.B.A. in finance from Baylor University in 1986 and is a 20 year resident of Bellville, Texas. He is married to Cathy Byrd.His son Caleb graduated from Baylor University and received a degree in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship. His daughter Hannah is attending Baylor as well and receiving degrees in international studies and Arabic.
Caleb G. Byrd
Financial Consultant
Caleb is a Financial Consultant with the 401K Shop. Mr. Byrd graduated from Baylor University in 2016 with degrees in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship and holds the Series 65 License. In his free time, he enjoys photography and non-fiction books. He lives in Katy, Texas.
Edith Moreno
Director of Operations
Edith Moreno is Director of Operations at M.C. Byrd Wealth Management.
Ms. Moreno joined M.C. Byrd Wealth Management in late 2016. She holds the Series 65 license and received a BBA in finance from UHV in 2022. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Edith handles operations within our firm and is responsible for completing tasks that involve working with all levels of management and staff.
